Hurd is a big, strong and respectable champion. I am not sure if he is a long term guy but I can see him being around the fringes of the top 10 especially if he wins tonight.

Needs the Ring belt or become undisputed to crack the P4P list...he's in the Top 5 discussion with a middleweight belt. I guess being "champ" isn't enough anymore (ha ha)...looks like the P4P lists are boxing's official "all-star" list...like being "all-pro" or named to the Dream Team!

P4P means what it says. Pound for pound, so If u stay at only 1 weight then your not top 5 P4P imo.
Especially if you are squeezing down 20 30+ pounds and naturally bigger than just about, if not everyone at the weight.
He's a top boxer but not top P4P. If he can manage to move up and perform the same way against people his own size then he can talk
