He fights with aggression and he'll go for it. He doesn't care. He's gonna go for the fences and if he lands it'll be fun to watch. Otherwise he'll go down on his shield. Either way it will be entertaining. This is a better fight and a game opponent. The other guy Miller would have fought scared.

I wonder if guys have to be so vocal with their confidence.....

Reporter - ''So, how do you think the fight will go ?''
No hoper - ''It should be entertaining. I'm at my best and plan on bringing it.''

      Is that so hard

Do pre fight nonsense really sell fights ???? Fans should be onto the trickery by now

I love prefight-nonsense like all acess or road to xy or the mighty old 24/7......always interesting to see how fighters eat, live and prepare for a fight.
Prefight-nonsense like that helps selling fights for sure.

Only so we can come here the next day and make dozens of threads on how uneventful the fight was. Seems like they used up all of their energy/aggression trying to sell the fight.

If the fight is legit, it sells itself. No need for trashy tactics (unless the lippy one has a history of proving himself).

Who are these no hopers fooling ?!?!? How many times will they have to eat their words ?!?!?

The timing is perfect for Ruiz: good camp for Dimitrenko, easy enough five rounds vs a giant, another six week camp without the usual snickers binge in between. The thing is, we all know (including AJ) Andy is fast, but he seems to forget AJs surprising speed and quickness for a giant.. Ruiz still a lot better than Miller so I´m not complaining.

Andy Ruiz has no chance, he doesn't hit hard enough and lacks reach , his skills are average to above average and he appears to have a lot of heart but his physical limitations are too significant.
His heart and engine and reasonable chin and some amateur background can see him past most heavyweights but he's not going to do anything to Joshua (who I don't like particularly)
Good for him getting paid though

I guess he will get pummelled and stopped mid to late

True. Completely ignoring where he was born. Has he at least ever lived in Mexico ?!?!?

Meh.....more nonsense to pile on the ''let's sell the fight'' wagon.

The typical no hoper post fight comment (if they're not rushed off to the ER) -

''I gave it my all. He's a great champion. It was an honor to be in the same ring. Not to make excuses BUT I kinda injured myself in there. Me and my team will go back to the drawing board and come back better.''

I saw that right off, but it's just a dream. Andy would get a better reception at the Morongo casino, he's nobody in Mexico.
