Deontay Wilder is a civil rights hero because he said “To this day!,” lmao.

This is disrespectful to the black people that are really on the frontlines of equality struggles today.
He never said he was on the front lines of any struggles, and no one is calling him a civil rights hero.

All it's saying is that some people appreciated him voicing the fact that equal struggles are not a historical relic, but a daily struggle even now. Nothing cringeworthy about it.

I didn’t say he said he’s on the frontlines.

Just saying he’s corny as f**k. People say a lot more significant stuff every day.

To this day! Lmao. Dude says himself he inspired a lot of people with that, lmao. As if we really didn’t know there’s still inequality in this country and the world.

Thank you, Deontay! You enlightened us!

When I want philosophical reflection I doubt I'll be turning to this lying coward for inspiration. He's an idiot. An idiot who said he wouldn't lose any sleep if he killed Dominic Breazeale in the ring. Or any opponent for that matter. I think he's actually said he wants to.

Guy is an extremely low IQ pos who lies constantly. If he wants to support black lives how about he starts by being a good example and telling his white puppet master Finkel to allow him to take the big bucks. Hypocrite as well.

Wilder is from Alabama. The legacy of slavery and segregation still affects black people in that region to this day.

I have no problem with him speaking out and bringing attention to that fact.

I was looking forward to something related to boxing but turns out just some run of the mill victim mentality mumbo jumbo.

Completely off topic but I have a feeling that Breazeale gives Deontay a tougher than expected fight. I may be very wrong but it's just a vibe I get. Wilder will be going for the KO hard and Trouble is tough.

Loving boxing doesn't mean that you have to be insensitive to the plight of your fellow humans.

God have mercy on your soul.
