It's nice to see Lubin come back strong after that brutal KO vs. Charlo. He looked great against Ishe but I don't see a clear path to a title shot by early 2020. Lubin is #4 for the WBC and he's technically #6 in the WBA rankings (but there's also Castano and Soro with "world" belts above the ranked fighters).
The suggestion in this thread of Sergio Garcia makes sense. But Sergio is scheduled to fight June 22nd.

I suspect Lubin's path to a real belt would be after Hurd finally moves up to 160 and leaves 2-3 belts vacant.

He's in a WBC eliminator next month.
So after the winner of Hurd-Williams/Harrison-Charlo 2 fight later this year he'll have a title shot again somewhere down the line.

Good idea, im not giving up on this kid yet I think he is still a good prospect/fringe contender.Alot of times 1st rd KOs at top level are a bit of a fluke, not saying he would have beat Charlo because I think it was a little too soon. Also think after this next fight he needs to step up and face a REAL contender and then we will see if he was just an AM stud or has a chance to be a good pro.

Agree with this, should be a Final Eliminator ordered by the WBC for Lubin vs Sergio Garcia but probably not next

"In February he became the first man to stop former champion Ishe Smith"

Ishe will be 41 this year and though durable, he has been washed up for five years. Lubin will have to do better than that to be considered for championship contention.
