Comments Thread For: Whyte Highly Doubts Fury WBC Eliminator Will Ever Happen

Heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte highly doubts that a mandatory eliminator with Tyson Fury is ever going to happen. The World Boxing Council would like to order Whyte vs. Fury as a final eliminator, with the victory becoming the mandatory challenger to WBC world champion Deontay Wilder, who faces his current mandatory Dominic Breazeale on May 18th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Whytes been horribly treated by the WBC , still great fight if Fury will take it regardless, the should just do it anyway and tell the WBC to get stuffed.

Can't see Fury accepting it though just doesn't really make sense from his point of view.

      Sly move by the WBC

They know Whyte is pissed and they need to stay favourable wih fans. What better way to appease the naysayers than ordering a potential mega fight that can't possibly be made. They full well know Fury would never risk the Whyte fight as an Eliminator and Whyte would see this as another road block and probably refuse too.

All while leaving the Wilder Bodyguard Council looking reasonable and respectable (to the casuals and or blinkered)

      Good work Suleiman you douche.

Whyte is right, WBC is crooked bunch of scumbags protecting Beyonce Wildher. Fat Fury will duck this fight like he has his entire career, Beyonce and fat Fury are two pathetic cowards worth each other.

Because Arum is still trying to sign Whyte and now he can dangle a huge fight with Fury for the interim title and a favorable split against Wilder.

I see. However, my one concern is would Dillian Whyte be willing to accept a title eliminator against Tyson Fury after turning down so many of them in the past. It's because the last I checked, he doesn't do title eliminators. So far he sounds like he is willing to do one this time which is good news.

WBC keep putting up those toad blocks as usual. Am not surprised either. The protection scheme is real.
A fight fury turned down voluntarily is what you want him to go fight an eliminator to get the same fight.
It's all bullshyte and a technical road block, we all know that.
