He’s fighting him because Bivol just fought him. His team wants to see how he does against familiar opponent. New to boxing? Not like Bivol is fighting anyone relevant anyway. So why can’t Bivol-Gvozdyk fight each other is Haymon blocking that like he blocked Ortiz-Whyte and Fury-Wilder II? Oh wait that was Arum and Hearn.

Honestly, I don't think Browne is ready for any of the champs so another fight before that isn't the worst decision IMO.

he's fighting pascal because he is shot. fighting shot fighters is easy and is good for your confidence. as a bonus dumb fans who dont really know whats going on will be impressed because they might have heard of pascal but dont realize hes shot. its a winner all around

Gvozdyk just fought a guy no one ever heard of. His opponent was so forgettable I can't even remember his name.

PBC just doing what everyone else is doing.
