Why did Mayweather vs Berto do such terrible PPV numbers?

So no response. Fair play. You obviously got no clue what you are talking about so can't say sh^t.
Black fighters are in more big fights against each other than any other racial makeup for a fight. And to placate your silly ass even "African Americans" (who even says that in 2019 who isn't some PC f#ckhead ffs) vs "African Americans" are at the head of the class in PPV fights.Comment

This. People wanted to see Floyd take on a rising star in the division, like a Khan, Thurman, Porter, or Garcia. Or move up to fight GGG. But instead he took the easy option with Berto.Comment

Usually when people say "African American" around here, they mean "not Black British" (e.g. AJ).Black fighters are in more big fights against each other than any other racial makeup for a fight. I don't think people saw a "african american" fighting a "african european" mfer when they bought the Tyson vs Bruno PPV. I think most mfers saw two black guys fighting.
For that matter I don't think people saw a "african american" fighting a "white irish" mfer when they bought the Floyd vs Conor PPV. I think most saw a black guy fighting a white guy.
And again the most popular fights in boxing history on PPV are STILL "african americans" vs "african americans" overall.
So again whats the f#cking point? Black Americans fighting black americans are 4 (instead of 6) of the top 13 fights in boxing history & STILL the most popular racial/national makeup fights among all the matchups.Comment

Maybe that's how people saw it in America. But in the UK, most saw Tyson vs Bruno as an American vs British fight. And in Ireland, most saw Floyd vs Connor as an American vs Irish fight. It could be that American fight fans just don't really care as much about nationality as European fans do. Which is rooted in the football culture of Europe.I don't think people saw a "african american" fighting a "african european" mfer when they bought the Tyson vs Bruno PPV.
