You guys are trying way too hard first the live viewers is 100% of their subscribers which is ridiculous BECAUSE DAZN offers more then just boxing and not everyone who has DAZN has it to watch canelo fights and not everyone who saw the fight saw it live on DAZN. Some people who have DAZN could of been at the fight or in Vegas or like me watched it at a buddies house party where we all have DAZN but only 1 of our 4 accounts is streaming live. No streaming app gets 100% viewing live watching their total subscribers. The number of subscribers is always higher then the number viewing at any given time. The point of subscription apps bis the flexibility to watch whenever you want.

But now you saying it's not even 600K subscribers? yeah it's just 100K subscribers and everyone told 6 friends to log in with their user info? sure ok LMAO

Damn you guys coming up with wild stories just so you don't have to admit that this shyt is working. They didn't even exist in 8 months ago and now they had more viewers then each of the last 2 PPVs in boxing combined and likely 1M or close to that subscribersbin right now which was reported last week by sources and these viewer numbers are in line.

Why do you always freak out and go on a rant when some one views things in a wide spectrum compared to your narrow, biased, agenda filled posts? Is it not a fact that the report was 600k concurrent streams, not subscribers? Is it not a fact that one subscriber can use 2 streams? So is it possible that a percentage of views are in fact double streams?

Maybe instead of being so one sided, you should broaden your mind. Especially since in a previous post I disagreed with another poster who said this fight was not a success. Now what does that do for your little rant?

All this is guessing anyways. And how many subscribers are using two streams? I'd wager to guess a VERY small percentage.

I'll put it to you like this. If it was in fact a small percentage, then why doesn't DAZN actually report the subscriber number as opposed to streams or views? I think in the U.S. It's around or above the 100k mark. It's how I watch a fight on DAZN every time. It's all guessing, but the fact that DAZN is not being transparent about the actual amount of subscribers is telling. As you can see, DAZN has never reported views/streams before, but you see how fast they reported once they went over 1 million. Either way, it's a good sign. DAZN is very young in the U.S. market, and theses numbers are good, whether or not a portion was double streamed.

Yeah this is all about Canelo not jacbos. lol But what's really crazy is the last 2 PPVs did 360K (Spence/Garcia) and less then 200K (Crawford/Khan). 3 of the top 10 P4P fighters did less PPVs then who watched Canelo live on a brand new app that just launched 8 months ago. Canelo is a huge star and draw. He basically saved Eddie Hearn and DAZN's azzz because remember no fighters were signing with DAZN until Canelo did it in Oct. Now their boxing content is about 5X better then what it was because of Canelo alone. He by himself directly brought Golden Boy's roster, then GGG (who followed just in hopes of fighting him). then indirectly other small signings after Canelo gave DAZN credibility.

Yeah well they didn't offer him $365M for his magnificent ginger beard. I guess the other way to look at it is who they could have signed with that pot of money. Canelo definitely legitimizes them though.

Regardless what a time to be an elite boxer so much money getting thrown around.

Here's revenue for the DAZN app JUST for the day of the fight, Saturday May 4th, across both app versions (iTunes + Google Play). They have new/re-subscribers on the daily but of course this peaks when there's megafight...

You have no idea how much they have made, you seem to be assuming every person has signed up and paid via the app and none through the dazn website, unless I am mistaking where you are getting these figures, if so let us know where these figures are coming from?

Yeah that is the key. If they only sold 240k subs before this then they are in real trouble. That is what I was saying to bigdunny1. when the article indicated "Approaching 1 million" .

I know my boy whose house where I watched the fight canceled it the next morning because it kept glitching (although he is a casual boxing fan).

Does he get a prorated refund for canceling the next day or is it $20 whether you get DAZN for just one fight or the entire month?
