He should want it unless he's worried about losing his L.
Even if he were to lose against Loma as long as he gives a good account of himself then it would be more beneficial to fight him than to not fight him.

Crawford is a much bigger Draw. People need to stop this bs that just because someone is from the UK they're a bigger draw. The UK would support a crackhead from Sheffield fighting a Heroin Junky from Glasgow on PPV.

One of the biggest things real boxing fans should start pushing for is that every sanctioning body top 10 rankings reflects the true top 10 of the division, and includes the other champions. Boxing has been set up, IMO intentionally, to con the fans, by making it so none of the top 4 in any division can ever be mandated to fight each other except for rare special exception. It would be like an NFL season where the Patriots and the other top 3 teams each year can never be forced to play each other. Then what's the point of having an NFL season, or an NFL at all?

There should be normal mandatories every year to 18 months, but there should also be mandatory unifications, and its by chance you dont get to pick which one of the other titlists you unify with, if you want to keep the belt. There needs to be constant momentum in any sport for it to be interesting, in this case, always pushing towards 1 champion in every division, undisputed, by mandate if they're not willing to do it voluntarily.

I completely agree
