Wilder's team has made numerous offers, but Hearn has made it clear it's DAZN or no fight.
Fanboys will say, "BUT BUT BUT Hearn said on IFL the fight can be on Showtime if they put up more!"
What promoters say in public and what promoters say in private is often very different.
Put yourself in Hearn's shoes. What would you do? DAZN has an opt out next year. Your DAZN deal was made before the current regime took over. DAZN has Golden Boy now. They don't need Matchroom. Only major fight Matchroom can offer in theory is Joshua vs Wilder. If Joshua vs Wilder goes to PPV, why would DAZN keep paying Matchroom all this money when they've delivered so little?
