His chin is deffinately not bad but everyone talks about him like he has the best chin a man can have. He has been dropped a few times and he has been hurt a few times. His chin is pretty good but I dont think he has the iron chin people like to say he has. He has never been in there with any elite fighters either, a lot of prospects seem to have good chins then gett KO'd once they step up, undefeated prospects who have never been beat at that. Margarito has been dropped, has been hurt, and has lost 4 times and never fought an elite fighter. He has beat some decent fighters but his power and chin are still unproven at the elite level. Nobody come at me all mad and start flipping out I am just posting my thoughts on this and im interested to hear other peoples.

this was when it was still unproven. Margarito has now proven he has a great chin since fightng top guys, he hadnt when this was posted. How is it a joke? Just wondering something before it was proven thats all. Not that big a deal.

In 3 of his loses he was in the age between 15-18 years old.

His chin is good enough to stand up to all welterweight and jr.middleweight and possable middleweight punchs.

Magarito has the best chin in boxing. I don’t think punches against Tony should count as effective...never saw him hurt he’s made of stone. I expect Margarito's brain simply interprets pain differently than most other humans.

His 3 loses were between 15 & 18 years old. His loss to Santos was stopped on a cut & who really thought Williams beat him. He was never hurt & rocked Williams a couple of times. Really he's undefeated in my book.
Cintron was 24-0 before he fought Tony with 22 KO's. Cotto was 26-0 before Tony. PBF os 39-0 & he doesn't want it to be 39-1, can't blame him.

i liked the marga fans before the the AM/MC fight.. they were toe to toe in proving margas worth. now its kinda overkill.
