Not true. Winner of a Vacant wbc title has to defend his title against two mandatories.

Jermell Charlo had to do it against Hatley and Andrade initially, Andrade pussied out and was replaced by Lubin, and Porter had Ugas and Thurman ordered as his mandatories as soon as he won the vacant wbc title.

The situation you describe is when you win the title from a champion, but if you win a vacant title, its two mandatories.

In the case of the WBC lw, WBC just made up a mini tourney so that means there will be no mandatory clashes until the winner of that tourney comes out. Only one that can order a mandatory fight is Mikey. Other than that, the winner of that vacant title has the time for unification

Teo will move up to 140 the moment Commey vs Loma is signed.

comney didn't want to face loma next either he wants a tune up and it doesn't matter what commey or dibella want lopez is going to be his mandatory next after he beats his next opponent. he'll be the ibf mandatory and the ibf doesn't mess around commey has to fight lopez or get stripped of his belt. commey screwed up and tried to milk his title before fighting loma and it just backfired!

Commey is fighting in June! He could easily wait for Lomachenko to fight in September, and wait for him! Unification trumps a mandatory! After June, it would be Commey's 2nd fight in 2019! That's pretty much standard for Champions today! Hopefully TR makes a big offer for Commey to fight Lopez!

Isn't that why Lopez's next fight is an eliminator? So he becomes the mandatory and then it's either fight Lopez or vacate.

No, he's not gonna choose Teo over Loma. He'll take on Loma. Winner gets all the belts and defends them to Teo as a mandatory.

Both scenarios should be on the same timeframe I believe.
It's just up to Commey who he wants to fight after his "tune-up" fight. Lopez as a mandatory or Loma for a total unification.

For Teofimo, if he really wants showdown against Loma, he has to make little sacrifices and extend his duration in LW a little bit.
