I'm surprised you're wasting energy on this argument. Clearly Lomachenko deserves a shot at any lightweight belt before Zaur Abdullaev because he's the best lightweight in the world and the best fighters in their respective weight classes should fight for the belts.

Although I do like how Loma is getting a direct path to all the belts we still know some palms were greased over this LOL. At first I was like maybe this is due to Linares being wbc diamond champion and loma beat him. Then I was like nah, this is about money.

I wonder where that WBC WBA IBF dude is. He hates Arum but loves the WBC. He thinks the WBC is righteous. I want to see his take LOL

Eh, not really. They always wait for the foreign boxers to get old before allowing them the opportunities. Because Loma is so small, the timetable is quicker than other fighters. You might think, "GGG didn't get his shot until 35 years old. Loma will only be 32 by the time he gets a chance to fight for the WBC title. That's a big improvement," but really it isn't. Fighters Loma's size decline at 30. Fighters GGG's size decline at 32. So Loma wont get the chance until 2 years after his prime, whereas with GGG it was 3. Not much difference. Loma facing a huge Teofimo at 135 end of this year at 32 years old will be up against it. If anyone has the skill to overcome that and still put in a great performance, it's Loma, but I'm just saying, be very wary about being too confident about ANY fighter two years past prime, and two weight classes above their ideal, reaching undisputed. If he does it it's very cool tho even more so cuz of that.

I doubt Lomachenko fights in September and then again end of the year though.

When I grew up people wanted to see the best fighting the best.

            Now all I see is:

            "someone got screwed over"

If you are not in this game to fight and win, get out of here and do some poker.

I hope to see this happen. Although I don't think Lopez beating Comney is a lock.

Well, even if Lopez is or isn't the winner, doesn't mean Commey can't fight Lomachenko afterwards.

I don't care if palms were greased. The best fighters in the world should be fighting for the belts. This wouldn't be an issue if the sanctioning bodies didn't have this archaic practice of not ranking other sanctioning bodies champions. Each sanctioning body's top 10 should look like the RING top 10 or TBRB top 10, instead absolute nobodies like Zaur Abdullaev are #2.

I love the Lomachenko-Campbell fight, but lmao @ WBC trying to mandate a tournament. Sure muhfückas, there are other rankings to get at Loma.

I thought Campbell was a great fight for Lopez and I still maintain he's a good fighter. Idk why this board underrates him so much and hypes Commey...the boxing skills between those 2 are night and day. Looking forward to this fight. Hopefully Lopez gets Commey, who Lopez should be able to handle barring an unexpecting punch.
