Complete double standard. Now, Amir Khan is the best win Crawford has and more than likely he will carry on fighting past it British fighters with Kell Brook next. On the plus side, least we know Crawford really is ducking Spence.
thanks for calling out his BS!!!

HUH? Where have I called a fighter a ducker or a coward? I think you are confusing posters.

Crawford is earning well over market value. If Crawford's deal was over you'd have a point. It wasn't. So if he didn't re-sign the new deal he'd still be on TR and still have the same issues with PBC until his deal ran out. He'd still have fought Khan. The only difference is he would have free agency looming.

If you were Crawford, you'd have left TR? Please answer.

You can compare this to the football league or even create a scenario with a basketball career. You have a Chinese league for either sport and you have wages in crazy abundances being paid, but the standard of the league is poor compared to the top dogs i.e. NBA and the Premier league, but the wages of either NBA and the PL are still very good. Do you opt to play in the league where you get paid a bit more, but get less of a challenge or do you go to the league where you're still going to be very rich and compete against the best?

Short answer is obviously I'd have left TR in his position because fighting the best is what a true sporting athlete would want to do. If he is as good as some suggest then having those big fights with Spence and winning it would only set him up better financially. Bob Arum is going to hold him back from the fights all of us would want to see him in.

The thing is he couldn't leave TR because there was still a year left on his deal. So the choice isn't staying or leaving it's staying and fighting 3 more fights (and we know how Bob does) or re-signing and getting a huge raise and fighting 6 more fights.

I will say this-once Bob didn't get him the Manny fight then maybe he should've thought about not re-signing. I uess he could've brought out the remainder of his deal and then signed with PBC but that is a risky move to come out of pocket if you aren't guaranteed to make it all back and then some.

I said he fought like a coward, not that he is a coward. Check the thread title simpleton, Floyd called him a coward, not me. I also didn't call him a ducker.

                    You can't be this ******.
