Eff I think the guy is all wrong for publicity , maybe a publicity stunt but that’s about how far they can take Tracy
Plus , all the money their throwing at boxers , pretty damn sure they can get someone with more pull to actually attract the peoples

I personally don’t find the guy funny at all

Its not about Tracy being funny per se. Its about him being put in funny ads for DAZN. Thats why they hired Tracy.

As a comedian I've never been a big Tracy fan & he's more crazy on stage than legit funny I've always felt, but he's a funny personality. And if you give him funny sh^t to say he can shine.

If those DAZN blow up my house ads or any other ads work or not is about the ad writers as much if not more than Tracy.

But mainly I don't think a humorous approach by DAZN is a bad move to try to catch the eyes of fans. I did think those how do you pronounce DAZN ads ****** ass & weren't funny doe so maybe they need to take a more serious aim or a different comedic approach if most are feeling like the pronouncing DAZN ads AND the blow up my house ads aren't catching the eye of many people.

They need someone catchy , someone who will make you look twice
At this point their better off using Ronaldo , guys know him and girls get all fughin wet over him
Pretty sure it would have a much bigger impact than Tracy Morgan

In the US I think Tracy Morgan gots more pull than whoever Ronaldo is. I legit don't even know who that is. I believe he's some non-US sports guy, but I'm not 100% what sport he plays or what country he's from.

And girls can squirt all over the place, but good luck getting them paying $100/yr or $20/mo to watch sports. Thats the goal here after we get people paying attention to the ads.

I think appealing to the men is definitely what you wanna do first off. And among the best ways to appeal to men is with humor or sex. So you either want a funny guy or a sexy woman imo.

Ronaldo is already a spokesperson for Dazn , Soccer player playing with Juventus and of Portuguese descent , that’s why I mentioned him

Not with DAZN USA I hope? Cuz that might be part of their problem to if so lol. I definitely wouldn't buy a DAZN sub off of some f#cking soccer player from Portugal's endorsement.

I think ESPN has shown humor works quite effectively at catching sports fans eyes. I suspect John Skipper having a lot to do with ESPN during the time of their memorable funny ESPN ads is Skipper trying to duplicate what worked with ESPN. Maybe Tracy ISN'T the right guy to use in comedic ads, but I suspect you appeal to more with humor than sex these days with all this PC MeToo sh^t. So its just a matter of finding the right funny approach to take.

Randomly I think ESPN didn't even use funny personalities so much as they used funny skits with athletes so you don't even need a comedian or Jim Carrey or w/e necessarily. You just need the humor. Might be a good idea to hire Conan O'Brien show writers or Neal Brennan or some behind the scenes guy & have them come up with a funny concept without any notable personalities involved. Cuz while I think the Tracy ads are funny enough, if most people don't, + those pronounce DAZN ads were horrible (imo) & that Buffer & Canelo ad didn't really pop either so maybe whoever is doing the writing of these ads is the problem more than anyone else is to blame.
