Careful. You might offend someone with those facts.

Canelo showed us against GGG last year and Jacob's Saturday night what stands him apart as one of the best. He has the mind of an elite competitor. He thinks fast and reacts.
That's what I miss about Floyd. He brought the best out of the guys he faced. It wasn't winning off rough housing. It was winning off meticulous chess moves. Floyd mastered the sport a long time ago and was able to make things interesting for himself and the fans to stay at the pinnacle of the sport for so long. The secret to beating Floyd or Canelo is to destroy their controlled environment. Maidana imo came close.
Mayweather had close fights with maidana, castillo, cotto, de la hoya was about as close as canelo vs jacobs. The truth is floyd, like most guys dont beat top competition with life in'em any clearer than anyone else. This is what happens when you fight guys on a high. Not shot, drained etc.

Why I want the lopez-lomachenko fight. It doesnt mean much for loma, but lopez is young enough that he still has a long career ahead of him and he will learn a lot.

Winning close fights against top tier opposition is the mark of greatness, not blowing out over matched bums.

The point went over your head. Winning close against top tier opposition is to be expected. It makes little sense to give alvarez sht for having close fights vs near prime top tier and present floyd as an example of how it should be done when he did no better vs that level of opposition.

O please so now the fight makes since once Floyd is a old man. To refresh your memory this fight happened nearly a year after pacquiao got knocked out and they needed a new boogie man for people to say Floyd was afraid of.

And canelo was it. After the Guerrero fight Floyd was bombarded with canelo questions. Everybody was calling Floyd scared of canelo and if this fight didn’t happen after pacquiao lost he would for ever be labeled a coward.

Even when Floyd was walking to the ring one of the commentators said this fight would define his career if he won here. But all that went out the window once Floyd beat him lol.
