So he's going to stay working in Big Bear at Mosley's gym?

Abel dealt with this so unprofessionally. You're a paid employee. Your contract is over. The end.

However, it was about money, and it's not a good look!
To play devils advocate, Sanchez got his pound of flesh in more than one 8 figure Golovkin payday, so its not like 3G dropped him the second the big money started rolling in. Could it be argued that any investment Sanchez put into 3G had already paid off handsomely for him ?

Whatever their percentage is for a 1 million dollar fight can be negotiated or reduced in a 500 million dollar fight.

And the same with a promoter. People always talk about fighters getting in position to take control of their finances and careers. If Crawford was in a spot to stay with Top Rank but demanding that they take a smaller cut of his purses or he walks to a different promoter good on him.

It’s negotiation man. It’s business at the end of the day. Everybody involved has the right to do what’s best for them. Abel didn’t like the terms and he walked. That’s that.
I don't view trainers the same as promoters! Promoters are not with you at 4AM! Promoters don't hold mitts! Promoters don't live with you at Big Bear! You're under contract with your promoter, you can't simply walk away! I guarantee you that Terence Crawford would not treat BoMac, like GGG treated Abel Sanchez!

I guess it's all in how you value time, friendship, mentorship, and family? Marriages break up all the time, but if you leave your wife, who was with you when you were broke, because now your rich and sexy...then all I can say is "Karma!" BEWARE!

These trainers always on some fake daddy sh^t.

I wonder how many trainers got sh^tty relationships with their kids & have tried to improve their own ego by trying to view their fighters as their kids to feel better about failed real father/kid relationships.

I imagine its a good way to keep boxers with you long term doe. And its not like a friendship can come outta a mutual beneficial relationship over years towards a goal both are striving for...but father/son sh^t is a whole other level.

I can't argue that! It is his money, I just can't see that happening to Emmanuel Steward, Robert Garcia, Ronnie Shields, BoMac, or Papachenko! You might move on b/c you feel your skills are stagnant, and you want change, but to leave b/c of money? Nah.

You guys better give GGG a break.

He ain't no sugar ray but he won 12 rounds out of 24 versus Canelo who most of yall are picking as the P4P king and this past 35,
so I guess dude ain't a complete bum ain't he?

I understood the backlash when he fought the Wades and Monroes, but in his 4 last fights he fought Jacobs and Nelo twice, still, he is getting shytted on...

I never saw GGG that great as a fighter but the hate is just pathetic out there.
No hate here, I just said he was done at the top.

And I disagree, I didn't see him winning either Canelo fight, but he didn't get totally outclassed like Jacobs.

Since I'm speaking on this, I feel Canelo's win over Jacobs pretty much sealed his two wins over Golovkin.

I hate the triangle theory, but let's be clear here....everybody (aside from FMJ) that stepped in the ring with Canelo simply couldn't pull the trigger as they would against anybody else...so i think it's time the boxing world gives Canelo his credit for being THE man in boxing.

the only reason why Golovkin threw that pith to Abel was to get rid of him just because Abel talked s h I t and tried to throw his fighter under the bus.
