I was curious to see if this was really "a thing" and stumbled on quite a few articles about dazn having issues streaming NFL in Canada. The boxing stream issues could possibly be a sign that they got more traffic than expected, which would be good. Or, that they just need to get this streaming thing down, which the nfl situation would indicate.
USA TODAY with huge story on DAZN's complaints

That's not just a DAZN issue that every big PPV issue. Comcast has that problem too. And folks still saw the fight they just had delays buying it because too many idiots do this every time there is PPV and wait till moments before the main event to buy. But DAZN knew about it and delayed the ring walks so nobody missed a thing just talking delaying. I have no sympathy for people who wait till the last minute and complain there is a delay PPV has been around a long time now and everyone who has bought a PPV has heard stories of some problems buying at the last minute with a huge crowd of people doing it at the same time. Comcast, Direct TV it's a problem processing a ton buy requests at the same time.
However, DAZN is still in its infantile stage and whatever glitches they may have encountered they will certainly come around to fixing it as soon as possible.Comment

lol. You had to mention Al Haymon…
You guys can't handle your own medicine. The problem with many of you PBC fanboys is that two wrongs don't make a right. Just because there was a horde against Haymon and PBC startup doesn't mean you had to do that to DAZN, but you LDBC shills made it apparent with such context to get back at DAZN because of GBP and Hearn affiliation. There are 10,000 videos on youtube citing this context from the LDBC.Comment

no issues. just funny to hear smear campaigns against the UK and Hearn for monetization gain while YouTube shuts that function down. When you post these things on Boxingscene its interesting to see the usual suspects saying ''who are they'' and question the thread starter each time..Comment

I apologize. I didn't know you were naïve about the circumstances for why that article was made...if assuming you're oblivious for what's going on..
on no wait...some of your posts on the matter are either cliche and redundant because he said she said, or you're just playing the part.
subtext exists.Man, you are one sick fuck. Your paranoid mind has no boundaries.

Honestly, I'd be more worried just about the technical issues DAZN had on the night of the fight than about how they botched the entrance or the announcers were bad etc. That's fine, par for the course in boxing. I had it buffer for me once in the 3rd round where I missed like maybe 10 seconds of the round. Aside from that, everything was good on my end. It did seem like quite a few people were having payment errors and that is something that needs to be cleaned up for the next big event. All my other complaints about the production and stuff? That's something they can improve on and they deserve some time as they are just starting out in that regard. LIS yesterday, the fact they adjusted so quickly with SRL's reduced role is a good sign that they won't wait to make changes on something that isn't working.Comment

I think DAZN had a crappy fight night but its not like they can't fix the issues.
The company needs to understand boxing draws the majority of sales the day of the fight, so I think they will have that addressed by the next major fight they do. I don't expect as much glitching and problems. The issues with the audio and other production related issues will be fixed as well.
The issue with announcing are always going to be there because announcers are told to talk more about the main guy on the network/service rather than the actual fight.Comment
