Racial politics always keeping people from keeping it real in their analysis. Canelo won that fight last night without a single doubt and Danny got a great payday. Win - Win all around

Much as I wanted Jacobs to win, it was Canelo's fight. I have a really hard time finding 6 rounds for Jacobs, I guess if you give him the no action round 1 and rounds 10-12.
I'm not a Canelo fan and I subscribe to DAZN. I'm not happy to see Canelo's head movement/defense improve. He already has a great chin and it's not going to make for exciting fights if he's that elusive. He will be very tough to beat and we're much more likely to see 12 round decisions with very few cases of anyone getting buzzed, much less knocked down.

Andrade is a physically gifted fighter now doubt. Very skilled and a very Awkward Southpaw...BUT he been dropped but some weaker opponents and his Power is nothing special at 160. Even in his last fight vs Akavov, Akavov was landing some big shots and wobbled Andrade in that 9th Round and that Stoppage in the 12 was AWFUL

Andrade is going to have to show more than he has to beat someone like Canelo. I think Canelo can STOP Andrade personally!

It’s smart, Jacobs started making these exact same statements about Canelo vs GGG 2 and got the fight

Andrade knows exactly who won and it wasn't Jacobs. Just a marketing sceme to get a Canelo payday. I had it 8 to 4 Canelo. 115 113, that was too generous, you could even go 9 to 3.

Andrade will not do better than Jacobs. He'll pull off 2-3 rounds top. The only man to beat Canelo at 160 is GGG (not that he hasn't already, IMO). But at 37,5 by the time they fight while Canelo is at his absolute prime, I don't think it will be likely. Oh, and did I mention 118-110?

Yeah he is just trying to talk his way into the fight but more then that he is best friends with Jacobs and promised to never fight. But then changed it to unless the money is too big and it's a unification. They very close he just sticking up for his boy he knows he lost but don't want to go on tv kicking his brother when he's down.

NEW YORK – Demetrius Andrade and Daniel Jacobs have won vacant middleweight titles on successive Saturdays this month. A 160-pound title unification bout betwee

“Me and ‘Boo Boo’ had a discussion before, that we would only do it for the big bucks and we would only do it for unification."

“But I have no plans of fighting him. Is it something that I wanna do? Absolutely not. It’s not like a Peter Quillin or a Sergiy Derevyanchenko, where we’re just associates. Like I’ve known ‘Boo Boo’ since I was 15, 16 years old. We came up the amateur ranks together. His father [Paul Andrade] is like an uncle to me. This is way more personal than anything" - Jacobs
