If Canelo could pull this off, I'd finally be sold on him. Because as it stands right now, his best win is 7-5 decision over GGG in their 2nd fight.

He's been pretty good throughout his run, no question. But he needs a career-defining win to cement his legacy, IMO. And this could be it.

If canelo fights in London it will be against someone he's guaranteed to beat. GBP don't let him fight outside Vegas unless they are confident that he won't need the judges

None of those fights were brutal (he wasnt even hurt in any of them) so by "life and death" you just mean close fights? he beat 2 of those guys convincingly
