At 160 and up, Canelo will always be a Decision fighter

I am surprised he couldn't put a dent in a drained chavez jr though that's the only fight apart from khan where i was certain he would steamroll an opponent beforehand considering jrs condition as well.Comment

Good point man, the thing those fighters exhibit is a good focus in fights and when fighting canelo. He normally knocks out guys who lapse in concentration for a sec. Khan kirkland smith etc all of them lost focus and it cost them dearly against canelo.

It's unfortunate these modern day standards in boxing prevents good fighters from fighting each other because Floyd set the trend of giving your "0" more value than it should have. If you lose nowdays you can risk your financial gain in this game. Gone are the days of round robinsComment

Yeah Able has been wrong about a lot of things as of lately. He lost two of his fighters a few weeks apart.
Golovkin clearly walked Canelo down in the first fight. Canelo didn't do anything remotely like that in the second fight. Like I said he or his corner realized his mistakes and I have to say made a good effort in correcting them in a losing effort. Didn't get the knock out he promised. Never hurt Golovkin at any point in the fight. Couldn't move Golovkin out of the center of the ring. Couldn't slip his jab. Got outlanded in damned near every round. It was a better fight but he still lost. Golovkins face got swollen but older fighters tend to swell up more than younger guys. Golovkin outboxed him in that fight using his jab movement and power punches.Comment

The fight was boring because Jacobs didn't want to risk getting knocked out and countered. Canelo wanted to **** but Jacobs who paid 1M to show up 2 weight classes bigger didnt.he let Brooklyn and culture down kol
This is a pattern where we see elite fighters who are extremely offensive minded against everyone else then fight Canelo switch up their game plan fight scared and to not get knocked out. The fighters that take risks and **** with Canelo get hurt bad or put to sleep.
Jacobs, GGG, Cotto etc etc look at how their offense production and efficiently fell off a cliff against Canelo. When you make top guys look like this you special.
