          What a bunch of malarkey

You looked up a fight but ignored the facts and now you're all salty

I think its a thing thats been there all through boxing history with fighters. Muhammad Ali didnt seem to take a punch the same way in hes early days as he did late on. Oscar was dropped abit coming up. Chris Eubank snr was stopped in the first round as an amatuer. You can get stronger whiskers with maturity. Although Canelos head movement is very good. Shame hes not a big puncher or hed have it all. Shades of Qawi yesterday i thought, not the workrate, but the strength and awkwardness.

I think anyone who has taken a punch understands. You get better, or wiser. It's less of a shock and you know you can come through it.

I'm convinced Canelo was buzzed when Jacobs caught him (in I think the 8th was it?).

He covered it, threw a couple of jabs and Jacobs didn't follow it up.

If he takes the route of backing up when he's buzzed then Jacobs comes at him. But he's a very experienced pro now. Jacobs couldn't take the chance that he wasn't hurt and get countered.

Yep. A ton of fighters have gotten better chins over time. Alot have gotten better chins once they moved up. Miguel Cotto for example when he was rocked bad at 140 by Torres and had a much better chin at 147. Pacquaio being stopped twice when he was very young and at low weights.

Also just age in general has helped.
Winky Wright had a fight he was dropped like 5 times early on. George foreman's chin was iron in his second career. In addition to all your examples.

Canelo is probably the best at anticipating a punch I've seen since Mayweather.

                    Yeah I said it!

I'm one of the biggest critics of Canelo but I give him props when it's due.

He was hurt about 2 or 3 times by Jacobs last night but he was able to take the sting off of them.

Jacobs caught him on the top of the head with a shot that I know would've knocked most people out. His knees buckled a little bit but he kept on going.

Lets not forget he also could do nothing to stop Hatton's brother in his tracks and landed his best punches against him.

Canelo was on some Evan Fields hardcore stuff.
