DLH and Hearn both had it 7-5 Canelo, I had it a bit wider than that but make no mistake, the right fighter won here.

I'm sorry but I swear I just watched a close, competitive fight

No need to apologise, I saw it a close fight as well, and the commentators didn't call **** for Jacobs. Sad as hell.
That's why ppl can't stand boxing and prefer mma. You think Joe Rogan could get away with what those boxing hacks we're able to get away with? Fans would crucify him, and he'd feel the impact.
Boxing fans don't have an outlet besides boxingscene to speak the truth. No one's trying to follow some hack boxing commentators.

Originally posted by Mammoth View PostNo, I really don't. The official scorecards were close and honestly very fair. The commentary crew seemed to be hoping to suck off Canelo at an after party or something.
You thought it was close? Seriously?
I think a decent showing from Danny is what it was. He put up enough of a fight to not feel too bad about this loss, but it wasn't all that close.
Danny maybe won 3 or 4 rounds, tops.

Had Jacobs been a little busier he could have easily won this fight very decisively since he wasn't getting hit all that much by Alvarez.

I scored it 8-4 Canelo, and that was being a little generous to Jacobs I felt. Was expecting wider on the judge's cards, was actually surprised. A draw is laughable and the Boxing Scene "experts" are known to regularly prove they DKSAB.
