Floyd has alotta close fights some ppl felt he lost cuz he faced the best

    Floyd vcastillo I floyd lost
Floyd v Castillo II close win for Floyd
Floyd v Oscar real close fight again for Floyd
Floyd v maidana I very close some felt Floyd lost the first one

See you can do that for most top fighters when they start facing the best.

Or you can go the Loma route and beat bums or washed up little guys and pretend to be the “best”
but floyd still dominated other top fighters. canelo hasn't dominated ONE top fighter. simple to understand.

That win against Buchanan was trash because the controversial ending.

No way in hell Esteban de Jesus is a hall of famer and he beat Duran too.

Canelo didn't just "barely" win tonight...He outclassed Jacobs.

          what other top fighters?

Corrales ? that guy was not better than Jacobs, he was limited and always had bad defense.

Canelos win against GGG and Jacobs were good, close but with a very good performance

duran was winning wide on that fight despite the bad ending. duran was dominating. buchanan needed a KO to win and it wasnt happening. another hall of famer and better than any of canelo's wins.

also esteban de jesus a far better win than anyone canelo fought thats for sure.

False, the fight against Buchanan was very close.

And nope, Esteban de Jesus is not better than GGG.

Of fact, Duran is a great fan of Canelo

no it wasn't. everyone at the time felt duran was winning easily. i felt buchanan only won 1 round before the stoppage. not to mention he was knocked down and was battered and bruised and bleeding. please watch teh fight.

esteban is far more skillful than GGG. watch some of his fights. fought in one of the toughest eras in boxing. a champion when there were only two belts per weight class.

And there's a guy named Crawford that makes every single one of his opponents look ordinary, or don't belong in the ring with him.

Fans don't understand we're watching greatness right in front of us.

I recall reading a Ring article a while back when a writer spent the time with Canelo in his dressing room right up to his ring walk. He described Canelo's rituals and his cool, relaxed demeanor. He also talked about what Canelo and his trainers did to get ready for the fight. One thing always bothered me. The writer described Canelo's trainer rubbing vaseline into Canelo's chest, arms, and legs. Now we all no that is a big no no as vaseline traps in heat and drains stamina and energy. It could have worse effects as trapping in bacteria and causing infections.

I always wondered if Canelo and his trainers still do this and if it could be a part of his stamina problems.

The internet era... where winning fights isn't enough and every loser is trash.

And you wonder why fighters take the option of padding their resume with flashy wins against B grade opposition? Maybe because people don't recognise them when they beat top opposition.

This was a high level fight between two championship level fighters.

Canelo was pretty clearly the better fighter. Not in a dramatic way, just a bit better in every area.

Jacobs boxed smart. A little slow early but when he got a read on Canelo he realised he couldn't outbox him. Went a bit more unorthodox and found a way to be competitive and pick up rounds.

Just a really good, technical fight between two top fighters.

To win, Canelo had to be really good. And he was.
