To me it was a draw or Canelo by a round. But we all know this history.

I think 2 of the judges were very generous to Jacobs

It was all the crying him and his team did through out this promotion.

Canelo clearly won 9 rounds but obviously all the crying swayed the useless, incompetent judges.

Time and time again we see people on here declare a fight crap unless a guy is flat out on his back.

That was a high level fight between two very good boxers.

The promoters and network managed to get a big fight made.

Credit Canelo. He was the better fighter and I thought he looked great. Jacobs was being outclassed but found a way to get competitive and then gave it everything late on.

Judges got it right in my opinion.

That was literally everything currently wrong with boxing being put right.

But people will still find something to complain about.

I agree, good post. I thought it was a really good fight. Not everything is going to be 'the best fight ever'

8-4 or 9-3 canelo. you can't miss like Jacobs was doing and win fights. Easy work for Canelo

Shocked the cards were that close. Never thought coming in I'd score the fight wider for Canelo than any of the judges. For me this fight was nowhere near as close as either GGG/Canelo fights or GGG/Jacobs

Well what do you expect with all the crying team Jacobs did?? the judges were preconditioned to give Jacobs the benefit of the doubt even though he got schooled even with his 25 pounds over Canelo.

Canelo won 9-3 easily no controversy.
