I know he wants to fight , especially after all the wasted fughin years , and I believe he will get the fights now
Hot Rod is no fughin pushover just did not have no answer for the power of Beterbiev
Ugly fight yes , definitely , but I also know that he can box , Beterbiev that is
Hot Rod is a live body. I expected a pretty even fight with Beterbiev breaking him down in later rounds.

Instead he made Rod his *****. I also don’t think I’ve ever seen another boxer get so much power into such short punches.

Beterbiev has that short right , sometimes almost like a short hook but so fughin hard
If not mistaken he has a couple of ko’s With that punch
I believe Hot Rod would beat Kovalev at this moment

I don’t know about that...The Kov that would gas out in the 6th, yes. But the Kov we saw under Buddy McGirt really interested me. Different style that could make Krusher scary and effective in his later years

I don’t think that Kovalev, at this moment of his career , will have the patience and dedication to change his style totally
Alvarez did not test him enough or entice him to go back to his old ways , and thus never being a threat
Their was no need for Kovi to go off path
Beterbiev or Bivol would go in their and pressure him to be more aggressive which would lead up to him opening up
Imo , Hot Rod would outbox him in a close fight barring Unless he gets caught by big shot

so I just rewatched this fight...Anyone point out the fact that at the start of the fourth round the ref sent Rod over to the doctor for an extra 10-20 seconds to be examined?

I don’t mind that when it comes to boxing. Those extra seconds don’t save boxers.

They did this during the Ancajas-Funai fight, as well.
