Jacobs says his style is African style.

I wouldn't say Canelo has what you'd call a traditional mexican style. He fights more like a guy from the midwest.

The number could be decieving because it doesn't show in what rounds he was throwing what. I remember that GGG dominated the championship rounds especially in the 2nd fight. GGG is also not the best 12 round fighter because he doesn't have a lot of experience going 12 and he's also 37 years old but I think he finished stronger than Canelo despite eating some hard body punches throughout the fight.

Jacobs looked spent after the fight with GGG but during the championship rounds he was giving as well as he was getting and he knew how to conserve his energy late a lot better than Canelo and that could also make a difference, Jacobs knows how to hold and catch a breather and move away and get himself together, Canelo isn't as good in that department, if it came down to it Jacobs will have the edge late if the fight becomes tough, but we'll see.
