Not like the ones in Japan where Inoue would know the score each round.

Partial open scoring and full scoring ain’t too bad imo. It’s main benefit is so that corners never complain in the post result and to see what their actions are after each round, meaning how they took the last round’s score.

Canelo did get that knockdown with that straight right cross, did him knowing the score make the difference? Who knows.

At the end of the day, Canelo was like 22 or 23 and has historical defensive moves in slow motion... proves he did a lot of sparring with his brothers, same way Floyd was naturally tuned into what he saw and experienced growing up.

As a Mexican fan ... and as any Mexican fan we expect greatness out of the fighters representing us.... I give Canelo credit but not at the level of what he would be now if he was American. If he was American I can guarantee he would be placed at God level right now... American media is good at building American heroes.

I'm not a fan of Canelo, I do not like Canelo, and I hope Jacobs will knock him out ... I dislike De La Hoya and all his trap ... but I can recognize that Canelo Álvarez is a very good fighter, very hard ... I'm a fan of GGG, but this one could not decisively beat Canelo either ... I saw the first fight winning closed Golovkin and the second I saw him winning Canelo closed .... I think the third fight was what I was commanding today, not Jacobs . Canelo for me is not that superstar ATG yet, but if it is the best there is today ... he is 28 years old .... Here's what Canelo is missing and what hurts in P4P discussion: He lacks a signature win over an A level opponent. By signature I mean clear cut decisive victory where he wins at least 8-9 rounds.

His 4 biggest victories: Cotto, Trout, Lara and Golovkin were all either competitive or controversial. None can be considered decisive.

Jacobs is another one of the those top fighters, and here's Canelo's opportunity to pick up a clear cut win and establish him as top 3 P4P.
