Nice card, I’d like to see Pac face either of the Garcia’s.

Mikey. Mainly because they’re both multi-weight champions, either is a good matchup though

Ah, got it. And yes, that's a damn good match up so Haney-Campbell can fight on the non-televised portion of the card LOL.

Yeah I was actually looking forward to Haney-Campbell, could’ve been a breakout performance for Haney who’s definitely talented but I’m not fully sold on him yet. Gonna be interesting to see how aggressively they match Haney.

I don’t like that Dougie either, the likes of him and Rafael are just egotistical, self-important ****holes tbh. Too busy trying to push their own agenda instead of actually being coherent journalists.
I dont remember May getting his shoulder worked on but that fight was ALMOST 20yrs ago so im sure your right.Yea the writing in this sport has took a dive, I grew up reading J Hirsh,Farhhod,Collins,Ryan(what ever happened to him?)and these guys cant hold a candle to them. Rafael is everything you wrote about him, but I don't think he is QUITE as biased as Fisher but he deff has a HUGE ego and can really act like an azz esp on his old mailbags.I think Breadman is really the best writer right now and he only does a mailbag, sure wish he could get Fishers job, he is one of the few I can still learn stuff from.Him and Malignaggi would be great together doing broadcasting imo.

Yeah journalism is a dying industry. As a kid I used to loosely collect Ring and Boxing News but I wouldn’t even bother reading them nowadays.

Is Breadman still training J-Rock? Do you give him any shot against Hurd tonight?

I come from a time before internet when Mags were ONLY way to follow sport so I still collect THE RING and have a bunch of others that have now been out of business. Yea Breadman is still training J-Rock I suppose that's why no mailbag today which is a bummer.Yea I give J Rock a decent chance, he has the better boxing skills and defense.Hurd though is a monster once you let him start going downhill on you, JRock will need to get his respect early.I would pick Hurd because he has less unknowns, but would not surprise me if J Rock pulled it off, the boy can fight even if he losses this fight, unless its a blowout(I don't see that)he should still be in mix it would only be 2 losses to top 3 guys.Like I said he needs to get respect and keep turning him and deff not just let him walk you down and run you too fast.Who you got?

I’m thinking Hurd mid to late stoppage. I could see it being pretty reminiscent to the Harrison fight. As you said Williams is the more skilled technically and Hurd tends to start slow so I could see J-Rock taking some of the early rounds. However, I feel Hurd’s size and strength will be too much as fight goes and he will begin to wear Williams down, ultimately leading to a Hurd stoppage victory.
