Just like alot of you guys are saying he is improving but those skills are against sum weak opposition besides GGG,Khan or Cotto. But man we all know those skills look sick against guys like Fielding, Chavez Jr, Smith

The emotions in these posts are downright feminine...holding a grudge like a hoe does when another thot blows their man...let it go.

Canelo did NOT win the 1st fight. That fight was correctly scored a draw. YES, Byrd's card was a disgrace and obviously corrupt. However, the fight was nonetheless rightly scored a draw. The only other plausible score was 7-5 GGG.

The rematch very well could've been scored a DRAW or 7-5 for Canelo. GGG definitively did NOT win 7 rounds in the 2nd fight just like Canelo did NOT win 7 rounds in the first fight.

If you want to say the scores are 12-12 after 24 rounds you can, but the official scores are 6-6 and 7-5. And those scores are fine...even if they hurt your feelings.

No matter how you personally scored the fights both Canelo and GGG are evenly matched.

A shame both fights didn't happen sooner. One can cry about Canelo forfeiting his belt or GGG refusing catchweights and/or refusing to come to America until he was 30 years old. In any case we're left with what happened.

I'm happy we got to see both fights and am hopeful we'll get a trilogy.

I don't believe for a second Canelo--despite his claims that he "won" both fights--actually believes he legitimately won or drew either; I do however believe that he now clearly understands that as long as he fights in Las Vegas and makes it to the final bell, he will not lose "officially".

This may well be a sticking point in negotiations with GGG for a third fight; GGG will most likely refuse to fight Canelo in Vegas again and Canelo will surely resist leaving the city where he begins each fight up 2-3 rounds on the cards.

... of course it did: Canelo finally acknowledged that the judges will always give him a "draw" when he loses and will always give him a "win" when he draws...
