"If" it landed no, he would not stay up. He would have to land it though. I still dont care for Canelo much but he is a very good fighter at this point and he would know full well what he was getting into with Jackson. The only thing I know for sure is that fight isnt going the distance.Comment

This may come as a surprise to some but it any semi heavy handed boxer lands a flush shot on anyone in their respective weight class then they are getting knocked cold.
If Golovkin landed a flush shot on Canelo he would be knocked out and the same vice versa. The problem is landing it flush and not having them roll or partially block it.Comment

I know this much, I've seen guys with great chins get bucked by Jackson. I've never seen Mccallum hurt like when he fought jackson. The crazy thing is that the punch he hurt Mccallum with in the first round wasn't even a flush shot. It was on the top of the head and a glancing blow on the top of the head. Even at 41 well past his prime at 175, Roy didn't knock him out(Roy said he carried him, but it's bs). Jackson imo is the hardest puncher pfp that I've ever seen. I think Canelo would beat him by today's rules of 24 hour rehydration and packing on 20-25 lbs after the weigh in, because Jackson was a small guy his whole career. 160 wasn't his best weight class and as mentioned, he lacked a chin. Still at 160, he hit HARD and I can't see too many guys standing up to that shot. It was perfectly placed and Graham never saw it coming. Even though Graham didn't have a great career, he was a top contender at the time and had never lost by ko. He was also winning all of the rounds at the time of the sleepage. That mf was snoring.. Jackson hit hard. I don't know too many mws that would have survived that perfectly placed shot.
People often claim GGG has more power than Jackson, I just tell them, I'd much rather be hit by Kovelev at 175 than Jackson at 160 flush. Jackson didn't only knock guys out, he knocked them unconscious. There is a difference in the 2.Last edited by buddyr; 10-31-2021, 11:32 PM.Comment
