No, Nelo & Jacobs both beat Punk G.

I didn't read comments but I'm sure panties are in a bunch. Styles make fights correct? I can see Jacob's posing a bigger challenge. Hes longer, more athletic and can touch him from the outside. May the best man win!

jacobs is a more difficult fight but not as dangerous.. with ggg, canelo had to stay on his A game the whole time. with jacobs, canelo can relax and fight his own way and not get pressured into fighting a style he usually doesnt.

Canelo is a wonderful boxer, but he is also an inveterate liar, and unfortunately many of his tribalistic fans take cues from their leader and parrot his nonsense, from his claim to have decisively won both of his fights with Golovkin, to having "accidentally" ingested clenbuterol, to his absurd disparagement of Golovkin's boxing skills--which Canelo seems not to understand makes his own skills look bad--to his disingenuous praise of Jacobs (again--relative to Golovkin) and on and on.

The contrast with Golovkin and his fans couldn't be clearer: Golovkin voiced enormous respect for the skills of both Jacobs and Canelo, accurately stating that each was the biggest challenge he had yet to face in his professional career.

Why is Golovkin honest and Canelo dishonest? Your take-away may differ from my own; to me it is obvious that Golovkin is extremely comfortable in his own skin while Canelo is deeply insecure and driven by a pervasive sense of inadequacy.

Yup. That's stuff you say before a fight. Especially when you're expected to win. The OTHER guy is really good. Really! He got KO'd once, but this could happen to anybody (except me.) He's better than those other guys I fought (who were GREAT at the time.)

And the underdog says what? I'm going to knock my guy out. Going to make this the most memorable fight in history, going to PROVE I'm this, that, and the other thing. Prove the world wrong!

The absolutely rote predictability of this fight is what it is. Tedious.

                  Canelo

he should be just a little too well-rounded and a little too-sharp, for the difficult and game Danny Jacobs

he has a wealth of experience, I expect him to be very comfortable in there

I think Danny gets up for these kind of fights..... he has looked kinda flat after that good performance with Golovkin but I think he will be on point for this fight

he could definitely make it difficult for Canelo

                  I expect him to

but it is tricky picking his approach to this fight with Canelo

his trainer/corner are in for a test

                    that could all be true.....

but it is the best fight that middleweight has to offer

                    thanks Canelo
