    Comments Thread For: Canelo: Jacobs Has Lost By KO, But That Can Happen To Anyone

    LAS VEGAS Canelo Alvarez believes he can knock out any opponent he fights. Even though he has displayed a granite chin throughout his career, the hard-hitting middleweight champion also realizes anyone can get knocked out. That's why the Mexican superstar doesn't put too much stock in the fact that one of Daniel Jacobs' two losses came by technical knockout.

    4-1 favorite is a bit extreme for Canelo. Not sure what they're looking at there. Must be hyped by the fielding performance.

        Its probably a combination of the Fielding performance and that Jacobs lost to GGG while Canelo has a win against him. Still, 4 to 1 seems ridiculous to me. That said, I am picking Canelo's technique and discipline over Jacobs athleticism and size. Who you got?

          I'm thinking it's going to be another Canelo close fight where many think it can go either way but Canelo will get the decision.

            If Jacobs gets lazy or throws lazy jabs throughout the fight, I see a late KO win for Canelo (by a counter hook) {ala Kirkland, Khan, & GGG even though he didn't go down}

              All it takes is one well placed shot and it's over with.

                  Bookmakers set the odds and once they’re set the public manipulates them with dollars spent. The fight opened at Canelo at -278 and Jacobs at +192. The public has spoken and they put their money on canelo thus raising odds on canelo (-460) and raising odds on Jacobs (+358).
