Comments Thread For: Jacobs' Trainer: Sanchez Talked Himself Out Of Golovkin Gig

LAS VEGAS Andre Rozier wasn't surprised when he learned last week of the split between Gennady Golovkin and trainer Abel Sanchez. Daniel Jacobs' trainer explained Tuesday that he thinks Sanchez's outspoken nature cost him his job as Golovkin's corner man. Sanchez revealed publicly last week that his long-prosperous partnership with Golovkin ended recently because Golovkin wanted Sanchez to take a significant pay cut for his upcoming fights.

A lot more negative **** is going to come out after the boxing scene interview regarding Sanchez. He's opening a can of worms. Able just shut up and learn from your mistakes..

I actually like Sanchez, he's well respected. I like Golovkin even though (recently by choice) he seems to be morphing toward the PBC "can a year" business model. I will always like Danny Jacobs, honest, super smart, all class.

Tough break up....Sanchez said things I wish he hadn't and didn't seem to have much useful advice vs Canelo.

That said, I'm a firm believer in staying with the partner that got you to the dance.

I'd like to see Golovkin work with Buddy McGirt, especially after seeing his work with a less disciplined puncher like Kovalev .....

Can a year? You mean can a career right? He has only fought 3 good guys and 1 was 2 weightclasses south of him. He has always been this.

How did he talk himself out of the Triple G camp? Ask they did was talk about what he said about Jacobs.

No matter how they call it, I still believe ggg lost to jacobs in that fight.
