My take is there's nothing much exciting going on in boxing as a whole. No fan buzz because we are being fed mismatches we don't want or need. I think that has something to do with it.

I'd classify myself as a hardcore boxing fan, with select favorite boxers. I'm neither excited about nor care much for this fight. It's 75/25. I already know the winner.

I have to keep reminding myself that the fight is this weekend.

Even the so called "Hardcore Boxing Fans" on this forum it is barely any thread going about this fight. Promos days before the fight is a dumb way to promote a fight IMO. I'm sure during the NBA Playoffs you will start to see Promos for it coming up soon which I guess will help but you have to Promote in advance not the week of

There's been a lot of buzz for me but I live on the border around a lot of Mexican boxing fans so idk how it is in the rest of the country. Lots of people i know making plans/talking about the fight.

At least on Twitter, Youtube, and this forum, I felt there was more buzz during the week leading up the Crawford/Khan match up than Canelo/Jacobs.

Hope it picks up, although the result of the fight is a foregone conclusion.
