Robert Easter Jr. and Rances Barthelemy saw a significant drop in viewership from their previous respective Showtime performances. Considering how their head-to-head battle played out, it's probably a good thing.

The pair of former titlists turned in one of the most disappointing main events of 2019-and perhaps recent memory-in boxing to a 12-round draw in their Showtime-televised main event on April 27 at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nev.

That was beyond awful! showtime boxing is dead! They are a zombie! fox is getting all the good fights on ppv not free which still sucks. showtime is screwed. they will be out of boxing very soon probably by the end of the year. pbc is still trash and is making every decent fight ppv only after saying they wanted to bring back boxing to the mainstream masses via free TV. al gaymon choke on ****** D!CCK!!!!

Horrible ratings to say the least. I already canceled showtime. There is no point to keeping it FOX, DAZN, ESPN, ESPN+, FS1 are all airing better and more fights then showtime is. Showtime is now clear dead last in networks airing boxing fights. And if showtime does get a good fight it will be PPV anyway. Haymon screwed Showtime bad taking half his roster to FOX and then DAZN and ESPN scooped up all the other top fighters. Showtime is left with whatever scraps Haymon occasionally throws his way. They spent all that time building Haney and couldn't even sign him. PBC sending everything good to FOX

One of the worst cards ever, even the few viewers will never come back to watch either of these guys. Even their own families must be ashamed.

I put the average over/under at 300k so this was right there st 312k. This is by far the worst card of 2019.

That is more than it deserved, terrible Main Event that belonged on FS1 maybe even FS2

Also a STACKED night of sports I was trying to Juggle NBA Playoffs, Prograis fight, UFC Card, Bellator Card it was just too much going on to stick around for a fight that was instantly boring from the start in which both just flinched at each other and Postured for most of it

People are wrong to blame Easter and Barthelemy. Yes the fight was poor but this has happened to all boxing ratings since Al Haymon came into boxing. Only the influx of new exciting talent from parts of the world where boxers didn't used to be able to get US TV dates from on HBO, after HBO kicked Haymon off, like GGG, Chocolatito, Loma, Kovalev, Inoue, Stevenson, etc, brought back a bump in the ratings, but many of them are getting older now and many of them were denied the big fights in their primes, so even many of the new fans that were made in the sport when they came around have already given up on the sport.

I expect to see continued ratings drops across the board if the next wave of talent isn't as good as the prior wave, and if that talent doesn't get top fights and top opportunities in their PRIMES unlike much of the last wave.

Because the fights ******. Easter is at best the untelevised, or main card opener, like 4 fights before the main event. PBC is reducing Showtime to nothing.

                  Give us great fights.

Did this fight manage to do worse than Shields-Hammer?
