My man, as anyone who’s ever done a serious piece of academic writing will tell you, if you base an argument on a source (like “ringside experts”) you have to demonstrate why that source is credible if you want your argument to be strong.

AP, ESPN, Yahoo, LA Times, Sporting News, Washington Post, etc all had a draw or Wilder winning.

Am I right in thinking that the “ringside experts” whose views you’re basing your position on are actually just journalists whose opinions you have found by looking through various media outlets?

In which case is it fair to say that those percentages which you referred to earlier to base your whole argument off were actually sourced from somewhere just North of your sphincter?

Okay, so we can see your argument might be just starting to unravel a bit.

My argument is that the fight was close, a lot of respected ringside experts didn't score the fight for Fury, and therefore it's hyperbolic to cry robbery.

I just listed for you many of the most respected media outlets, who scored the fight from ringside, and didn't score the fight for Fury.

I've conceded that more ringside experts had Fury winning than had Wilder winning, but a significant portion scored the fight a draw. Which was in line with the official decision.

So to cry robbery is ridiculous. If you had Fury winning, that's fine. I scored it a draw. I don't think Wilder won. Going into the 12th, I figured he needed a knockdown to eek out a draw and that's exactly what happened.

There were many close rounds with very very few punches landed. If you scored every single one of those rounds for Fury and had him winning by 2-3 points, that's fine, but a draw was a very reasonable scorecard as well.
