"I have spoken with [DAZN top executive] John Skipper more than once. Him and I are developing a very good relationship, I'm very fond of him. Those talks will continue, and eventually it will lead to a fight of Deontay and Joshua."

That's good news I don't know why this couldn't be the title. The title for this article leads you to believe that Wilder's team isn't trying to work things out with AJ's team. That's why it's important to read the article before posting.

I'm glad they are talking and building a relationship with the top executive of DAZN!! If it's looking like they will make the deal to fight AJ and vice versa I wouldn't mind seeing both guys take tune up level fights so the match-up won't get derailed by a untimely upset.

They probably want 5 “easier” fights of making $20 mill each fight before fighting Wilder. In 5 fights Joshua can make $100mill. So why risk one big KO loss for $50mill?

I hate it as a fan but I understand it when I use common sense.

And then Wilder and his team changed their minds and now probably are gonna wait til the fight reaches 9 figures and will just stay with Showtime having “easy” fights there.
All the chowder heads on the site posting crap understand it too. They just have V's instead of D's and like to complain about every little thing. That and they can't stand to see fighters make millions off of what they feel is the "easy" way. They are mitches.

I don't mean to ruffle any feathers ..... But reading some of these posts gives me the impression that many so-called boxing fans, 1.) Don't understand the business of boxing 2.) Don't understand that fans rarely get the fights they want to see, when they want to see them 3.) Are too caught-up in the "My guy is right and your guy is wrong" mentality to even entertain an open mind.

Both Team Wilder and Team AJ are making calculated moves to maximize profits in the present and in the future. If\when a Wilder vs AJ fights happens, it will be the biggest fight of the decade. And all this back and forth nonsense is just to keep interest at the highest level until then.

          $$$$$$ > What fans want.

            That's actually probably accurate.

Can't see why Wilder would pass up that big offer from DAZN. Just seems like everything he could hope for there. To postpone it for a few fights is so risky imo

Specifically, how does Fury compare to Joshua? Seems like their styles are ions apart, but I'd like to know your opinion.

Ok shelly. Just keep sliding AJs name in there whenever possible, even though you have no intention of fighting him.

You chumps on here accused AJ of milking the fans for millions unifying and taking mandos but now it is ok because your boyfriend is doing it against voluntary, lower ranked fighters. You guys should get a back bone and put your pom poms away, you don't have to support Wilders every move.

Is it worth hoping the WBC come up with something to force the Whyte fight?
