Why does Fury get a pass for fighting complete no names?

There are some people who actually believe Fury is the best hw (I am not one of them) because his jerky jerky style has done a job for him in two big fights.
In the Klitschko fight he did very well but if ever there was an example of 'styles make fights' that is the one boxing heads should point to.
Klitschko was usually the bigger man ad fought at distance and leaned in and on opponents sapping their energy, amd then knocking them out - which precisely what Fury did to McDermott, Cunningham and others. Add in the fact that WK was super lethargic that night and Fury got his shock.
But let's not make him into this defensive genius giant Mayweather. He has been dropped by several dudes now, none of them very good, and is there for taking by a guy like AJ who wont be leaned on, won't sleep through rounds like Klitschko did, and is a finisher.
So....we have Fury still dining off of his WK win and the good performance against Wilder, and nobody blinks an eye when he fights utter bums. WTF! For a guy who has a following, a massive contract, and is supposedly a 'king' I'd like to see some Parker, Ortiz, Whyte types in there with him.
What I'd really like to see is him fight AJ at Wembley, but I can't get my head around the ****e he fights, and the fact nobody seems arsed.

Because he is clever, he stayed off social media and even announced that he would for a while. He knew people wouldn't like his decision not to fight Wilder right away in the rematch. That took off a bit of heat off him. He isn't going around saying he is being ducked whilst turning down offers from Showtime. I think he tried to do that once but then he just stopped doing so. He knows his next fight is craap so he isn't going to put himself under the microscope by saying much about Joshua or Wilder.

He can do what he wants. He isn't a champion and it's not like he hasn't fought and beat big names already. It never seemed to be a problem when wilder was still fighting bums well after his 30th fight, hell they were claiming he was putting in the hard work facing the best.

That's right Jason gavern, the best.

Whenever a boxer avoids a fight with a Haymon associated boxer, the majority NSB posters do not complain because they want to see Haymon's business hurt and his fighters lose.

Fury avoiding Wilder prevents Wilder from knocking Fury out, which prevents Wilder from having a win over the guy that has a win over AJ's best win. The notion that blocking it is "ok" because Fury didn't get the win the 1st time is completely insane.

Compare the difference in the response to Fury/Arum when they blocked Wilder/Fury with the extremely angry responses from so many posters were when Haymon prevented Ortiz from fighting AJ.

Fury was already robbed against the Haymon fighter. People are more understanding if the fighter doesn't want to go back to be robbed again.

While I had Fury winning, the notion he got robbed is utterly ******ed. The 2 KD's equates to a 10 round fight with Fury down 20-16 at the start.

The difference in response to fury/Arum and Ortiz/Haymon is worse because Ortiz was a fill in for a drug cheat. It wasn't anything like Arum coming in and blocking the fight once negotiations had started.

He doesn't, it's just that no one cares.

After the rematch with Wilder fell through, Joshua and Wilder have been the only names in anyone's mouths around here. So it goes.

Fury's not talking about Fury because he knows he's on weak ground fighting Schwartz.

Joshua/Hearn aren't talking about him because they know that a fight can't be made now he's exclusive to ESPN.

PBC simply want to fight in house.

His deal made him an irrelevance. Doesn't hold a title and yet people will have to come to him? What for?

And I don't think he particularly cares. He'll remain unbeaten. Has held titles. Claims lineal status. Has a big win and a dodgy draw against two big names where he travelled.

Basically, he's earned the position to collect cheques. And it's not really in anyone's interest to call him on it.

He doesn't get a ''pass''. It's what his fans expect from him.
