He talked himself up after getting an opportunity and payday he arguably didn’t deserve, and then bailed out of the fight after putting up a performance with all the gusto of a church mouse’s fart. Lots of people paid good money to watch that fight, so a little scorn is no less than he deserves.

Khanvas robbed the fans of the enjoyment of watching him getting ktfo when he quit on his feet. That's the reason people paid money to see you Amir!

If he had quit and admitted it (and maybe even acknowledged the possibility of retirement) then maybe I could sympathise a little, but the total crap that's come out of his mouth since is unbelievable.
Everyone's always known he was delusional but this has made me start to question whether he's actually got legitimate brain damage because he seems to genuinely believe what he's saying.

Khan quit following an upper thigh shot. He deserves all of the scorn he's receiving.
+1 for that. With a broken orbital bone Brook would have been ****** to continue and risk permanent loss of sight. Khan gave him a hard time afterwards actually saying the words 'you fight till you die'. In my book, if you lay into someone like that then later quit under lesser circumstances, you deserve every bit of scorn that comes your way.

Prograis/Relikh fight got it right - Relikh kept going at 100% until the corner made the right call at a time where it was entering the unnecessary punishment stage, but the corner saved Relikh from himelf without him having to take career-affecting damage.

So it doesn't have to be that the boxer needs to take brain damage, just needs a good corner and ref to call it at the right time like with Relikh. Khan's corner basically asked him if he wanted to quit and he said yes, and no disappointment or complaints when it got called - he quit.

Golota landed all those low blows on Bowe and Bowe never quit... it was the ref who stopped the fight... That's why you're A mere coooooon!

There is a third option - Khan got hit below the belt and couldn't continue. You see people who get hit by good body-shots who can't continue. So why so much surprise it happens when a boxer gets hit even lower. Crawford should have been disqualified. If the same had happened to Crawford - I'm sure Khan would have been DQ'd.

                    Hurt bissn

Some one please inform this writer that its called the "hurt bissnes" for a reason. Reason why they get paid real good. And for you to put Khans name and Morales in the same sentence, you should be hung by your balls. 4Reals.
