The honest truth is that industry, legacy reporters and old reporters and mainly teams and promoters know that before advanced drug testing came into play, those stars, whom merely just post fight urine tests had the luxury to not do pre-testing like Jarrell Miller.

This is why industry doesn't pick on Canelo. They know the past.

Even with BJS's ''nasal spray,'' whatever the case may be, there was adverse finding and strict liability, so much that the boxing world still let BJS fight after the fact and the WBO forgettin it as well. Why?!! Because they've seen heavier stuff in the past. They know the new generation are at least making an effort. Not saying ''cheating'' should be allowed, but context is everything, and WADA somehow has paradoxical excuse for Meat Contamination in Clen - as many USADA and VADA athletes have been waived - as well as Oxilofrine.

Again, testing isn't consistent. Many of the Canelo haters don't even question VADA's role in catching Canelo since he went 365. If they were seriously on the hunt to catch and that Canelo relies on cheating, then surely theyre doing things ''randomly'' wrong.

Right now it's basically over with the exception of butt hurt GGG fans still making excuses for why their guy lost. lol

To everyone else it was extremely low traces of a non steroid substance that is flooded in the Meat supply in Mexico. Whether you buy it or not those are facts. You combine that with the fact that Canelo beat GGG and looked even better the second fight doing it makes it virtually a non factor. Nobody but the most desperate cry baby GGG fans even brings it up today, It hasn't hurt his career. By the time his career is over nobody will care about it it will simply be a footnote.

        Really it was tainted meat

And Canelo showed he is naturally a very strong guy.

Plenty as it should. Whether intentional or not we don't know so most people are going to side with the extreme end of things and it puts into question how much of what you achieved can be attributed to PED nudging you enough over your physical limits to get it done. I think this applies and should apply to anyone who tests dirty at any point during their career. You can survive it but you won't be as shiny as you would be without it.

              It doesn't.

Was just listening to Evan Rutkowski on Mannix's podcast, and when asked if Miller would get another shot he just laughed. Rutkowski pointed out that the boxing media and the most hardcore of fans are the only ones who care, and that 99% of the fans couldn't care less. He compared it to baseball/football, and that when he sees that a guy on his team pops for something and gets suspended, his reaction is "Aw man!.... we need him next week!"

I was thinking about that, and he's really right. In terms of even hardcore boxing fans... posters don't care so much if its their guy that cheats... they care if the guy they don't like cheats. Or maybe that their guy got caught and is now being put on blast by the fans of the guy they do like.

99.9999999% of people go "Eh, it's combat sports, guys pop for stuff sometimes" and never think on it again.

For me if he wins this Saturday he HAS to be P4P no.1. Tired to hear abt the eye test. Canelo, has the eye test AND the resume something Crawford and Loma dont have.

It doesn't bother me. He is being tested now and coming up clean. I think it hurt him a lot. Some will never forgive him and insist he always was a cheat and still is. However it did not hurt him so much that he is no longer the most popular and the biggest money making boxer because he still is.

Why would he HAVE to be P4P no. 1 for beating Jacobs. GGG beat a younger Jacobs by ud in Jacobs's home state after Jacobs skipped the morning weigh in and was very heavy? What would he have done that GGG had not done first?
