Pirogs career was unfortunately cut short due to a freak back injury suffered while training (hitting tyres with a sledgehammer)

"Pirog was training in the mountains in his native Russia, preparing for the bout, when he suffered the injury this past weekend, Pelullo said.

"He trains with big tires and a sledgehammer, and he hits the tire with the sledgehammer, and he was doing that and he ruptured a disc in his back," Pelullo said. "He was up in the mountains where he always trains. Everything was going fine. He injured it while doing that workout. Then he flew back to Moscow and saw a specialist. He wanted to fight but there's no way"

Sad thing was is that he was training for a ggg fight, would have been a great fight.

Canelo had better performances than Jacobs vs GGG.

Canelo is still peaking, Jacobs is on the decline. Canelo is all around the better fighter, he will school Jacobs. Both like to box and Canelo is superior in everything except reach/height.

GGG underestimated Jacobs. Nelo wont do that.

Shame this fight isn’t on hbo or hbo ppv. There has been ZERO buzz about it. No one I know professionally is asking me about it, not even my fellow boxing fan friends are asking me about it. Not even the Mexican Americans I know are talking about it. This app only approach isn’t working. I’m sure the Hearnomaniacs will defend it.....”streaming is the future” and all that but it sure isn’t proving to be the present

You keep proving everyday how much of an idiot you really are!
I've never heard anyone say "it's a shame this fight isn't on ppv"........
You act like you got money to pay for it anyway,... Lol
Talking about no one you know professionally is asking you about the fight,.... That's cause you don't know any professional people with jobs and careers! We all know you're a broke welfare queen that still lives in his momma's basement! 🤣
Me, I don't give a flying fucc if it's on a streaming service or on ppv! The fact that it's only $10 to watch the fight is what I like! But I'll be watching the fight live from the T Mobile arena so I'm set! 😁

Rooting for DJ in this one, he's a man I admire from his boxing and outside the ring battles and victories. That said, I hate hearing boxers talk like this, "I beat him and he's stronger than this guy" kinda thing. I know there's an element of trying to get inside Canelo's head here, but it also seems like he's trying to convince himself that he'll win, which should be unnecessary if he thinks he'll win. Also one of the things I like about Canelo is the fact that he seems to fight better when someone gets under his skin, evidenced by the whole GGG peds incident. Rooting for DJ but reconsidering placing money on it.

I hope you got the nosebleed seats, anything else is a ripoff because tmobile arena is sick af,it gives every single seat a unobstructed view, its the only arena ive ever been to that actually has better seats from a distance than up lower level(except front row),I regret paying $3000 for 2 lower level seats in the 1st Canelo vs Ggg fight. That was a ripoff considering the price $800 of better seats higher up. I made the mistake of buying during presale, the resellers up to day of the fight had way better deals.
