I am getting worried about Danny's state of mind. All this clatter from him seems to be about convincing himself...a little bit like whistling while walking past the graveyard. That aside, this should be a great fight.

Let’s debunk Jacobs. 1. “I took his best punches and fought him when he was a monster everybody ducked”. Well, no that’s not true because Jacobs purposely dragged out the negotiations for months to get a huge undeserved payday. He knew that if GGG didn’t fight him, then he’d lose the belt he worked hard for. That was his leverage. He came in on fight night as a light heavyweight. Forfeited the belt he currently holds, too. 2. “Most people agree that I should have had my hand raised”. Actually, some do, but many don’t. I, for instance, have Jacobs only winning 3-4 rounds in that fight at best. Nothing more, but certainly less. He was outboxed, *knocked down*, backpedaling, etc. Some just say “oh GGG a hype job. Jacobs beat him” because it was a close, but clear, competitive fight. The first time GGG went 12 rounds in years. However, let’s not forget that the only man to have arguably given GGG his toughest fight and deserved at least a draw is Canelo in the rematch. 3. “The whole world agrees with me that I’ll beat Canelo and am the best middleweight”. I can’t tell if he’s trying to be funny or not. Canelo has many haters and non haters as well. Definitely a much larger fan base than Jacobs. Also, the winner still has to clear out the division. Finish off GGG, fight Andrade, and the list goes on. To sum it up: Jacobs is desperately trying to convince himself and the public to rally behind him. A weakness of his because it reveals that he isn’t as confident as he thinks he is. A great fighter doesn’t have to do much talking. They prove it in the ring.

Easy points win for Canelo. Jacobs doesn't have the power at MW to trouble Canelo and GBP know it which is why they were so quick to make this fight.

I don’t know in what sense Jacobs thinks he is stronger than Canelo. We know he is taller, has a greater reach, but stronger? Canelo is more compact. I don’t see Danny pushing him back, or muscling him around the ring. I see Danny moving side to side throwing jabs and combinations from a distance. That will work until the inevitable and brutal body shots from Canelo take their toll.

                one sided boxing lesson

Jacobs will fall Early...Or get made a fool....

Saleleci gave Jacobs hell...So did the Russian.

                look...Even if...& thats a big if...Jacobs goes 12

He will NOT win in Vegas.........The very best..he can hope for in his miracles is a great Pay Day..Rare to see someone cash in on the back of a definite loss to GGG

I too had GGG clearly Beating Jacobs fight in a close fight and barely beating Canelo in a super close first fight. I had Canelo winning the rematch.

Canelo is sharper than GGG though and probably more likely to land damaging shots.

I still don't think Jacobs is that durable, despite going 12 with GGG. He did get dropped anyway but i think his style allowed him to get through the fight without too many damaging shots. I think Canelo is more likely to land big shots and i think he has enough power to hurt Jacobs.

I think Jacobs will have some good moments early but he’ll eat a few counters and body shots that will change the fight.
Once he realizes a KO is not happening he will go into survival mode so he can lose a decision and try and cry robbery.
