The Fighting Pride of New Orleans, Regis "Rougarou" Prograis (24-0, 20 KOs), promoted by DiBella Entertainment, defended his WBC Diamond Championship and captured the WBA Super Lightweight Championship on Saturday night with a sixth-round stoppage of Kiryl Relikh (23-3, 19 KOs), of Minsk, Belarus, in front of a passionate home-state crowd at the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA. The victory moved the new champion into the finals of the World Boxing Super Series to face the winner of the other semi-final bout between IBF Super Lightweight World Champion Ivan Baranchyk and undefeated, world-ranked contender Josh Taylor set for Saturday, May 18, in Glasgow, Scotland

Win the tournament. Follow that up by challenging Crawford and beating him. Arum will try to keep Ramirez away from Prograis. Hopefully the WBC forces Ramirez to fight. Mo Hooker is a challenge for Prograis because of his height and range.

I didn’t see the fight but just watched some highlights on YouTube cause I’ve never seen Prograis fight. His opponents was not very good and it seems like he swings with a lot of looping haymakers. I haven’t seen a lot of him the little I just saw makes me think he’d get beat by someone who throws good straight punches. But i don’t think he belongs on any P4P lists after beating that guy

Talent wise he's already there. Prograis is definitely a special fighter.

Hell why not we got dudes with zero career wins and on everyones P4P list. For me not yet, but imo Progrias should be P4P Top 10 if he wins the Ali Trophy.

That was a P4P Quality Performance vs a World Champion! Should be Top 15-20 Range now, if he wins that WBSS Tournament he is Top 10 for sure!

                  No. & hell no.

Some fighters who I don't think are necessarily in the consensus P4P lists that would go before him:

                  Demetrius Andrade
                  Jarrett Hurd
                  Danny Garcia
                  Callum Smith
                  Anthony Joshua
                  Keith Thurman

Is there even an understood p4p consensus? People just be making up there own criteria it seems.

He has to beat: Josh Taylor, Ivan Baranchyk, Devin Haney, Mikey Garcia, Josue Vargas. Somebody who's skillset I respect. Drop down to 35 for a big fight beat a big name or the obvious names at 47. People gon pretend the niccas he beating are super nice.
