I don't really understand the dislike of Hearn. In the UK it's a pantomime thing but on these boards it seems to be real. Why care that someone is trying to shake up the established order?

The guy is knowledgeable, entertaining, speaks to everyone, gives us loads of content, and is out there trying to make big fights. If it wasn't for Eddie, then there'd be little conversation about the heavyweights. Just look at Fury - once he wasn't relevant to AJ no-one is taking about him.

Subscribers of that channel, may not have watched the videos, but they'll definitely see the video titles and will have no reason to question the Barbershop Conversation version of the truth. Especially, as the interviewer has the credibility that they spoke to Eddie Hearn in person.

It's a dangerous strategy for Hearn really.
DAZN offer can not guarantee the Joshua fight it would be illegal if it did

He knows there is a reason they have the largest membership of the YouTube boxing community. They filled a void. And look at his prospect signings. Catering to this market will make Eddie successful in the U.S.
          LDBC suck ****.

Do you honestly think that Hearn and DAZN would offer that money to Wilder to make any other fight than the Joshua one?

I watched that interview, that interviewer was really cringe trying to tell Hearn how to do his job then talking about colonising ffs

Embarrassing stuff. I'm not a Hearn fan but he handled his nonsense well. Arum wouldn't have gave that interviewer the time of day, and his hero Haymon who he worships wouldn't even acknowledge his existence.

I see where you’re coming from but the amount of time that he dedicates to talking openly to people who are constantly criticising and undermining him does suggest that he’s not all bad.

He even jokes with a number of LDBC youtubers like he’s their buddy and it comes across as genuine. It casts him in a good light.

They might not necessarily go to watch fights live but they do purchase PPV
