At this point I'd be curious to know what % are monthy & what % are yearly doe cuz its potentially a big difference. 1M Yearly subs = $100M/year. 1M Monthly subs = $240M/year.
I'd suspect it leans towards yearly cuz $8ish per month for a hardcore fan sounds pretty good for all that boxing. On 2 Canelo fights, 2 Joshua fights, GBP & the WBSS which is all sh^t most US hardcore fans would be into its a great value & bargain vs what they've been paying for just Canelo fights alone ($140ish a year).
Good on DAZN if Evan is correct. There is still a long game in play, but there is no debating DAZN has had the most impressive rise in boxing as nobody to somebody than I'm aware of having ever happpened in boxing. It'll be interesting to see the moves they continue to make & if this is sustainable.
What I'm most curious about is what does DAZN look like if they acquire a major sport. Does the price go up? Is there sport specific deals? Or do they keep it at $20/mo & people come & go seasonal with their preferred sport or for us boxing fans as fights that interest us come up & the $100/yr deal is still out there for frugal mfers & those who dig everything to some degree?Comment

Given the contracts of Joshua, Canelo, ggg and the rest, at least for the short term, isn't DAZN losing their ass?Comment

I hope they succeed. I subbed for 20 a month because of Estrada. I'll watch the Canelo and Usyk fights, too.
Maybe I'll sub again when Katie Taylor is fighting. The rest of their fighters I don't care for.Comment
