Nery, you forgot to mention in the second fight he didn't make weight. Is it too much to ask this cheater to stay off PEDs and make weight?Comment

You can't see the Big difference in both photos, and I said you that it's real because he thrown 670 punches in the first fight and 1026 un the second.
ID.iot
You forgot that Nery and Yamanaka weighted 128 pounds in the ring.
Thats what Yamanaka said and Nery accepted
Very different with Quig, he did not want cut weight,
Nery looked like sh.it because he went down 3 pounds in a second weight in
People was happy saying that Yamanaka would K.O him because he looked drained and in a zombie formComment

Hahahahahaha
Can’t tell if your trolling or serious
Most great Mexican fighters are waaaay better boxers than those euro hype jobs
****t even our journeymen whoop your overrated hype jobs just ask salido .
Canelo isn’t even a top 10 all time great Mexican yet but again he was good enough to put a whoopin on that clown ggg.
Again you either don’t know much about the sport and you’re noob like most of you eastern euro fanboys or you’re just flat out trolling.
But nice try though
Impressive.
I have seen some folks on here say some over-the-top things to get attention. But this was epic.
Thank God you weren't born with any sense of self-worth. Most people would have killed themselves after lying so shamelessly. I guess it's the shythole you people come from that makes it so that nothing is beneath you?Comment

Canelo was definitely prime for May.
However at MW, we dont know if we seen him at his best - because he has only fought one guy at that weight.
It remains to be seen whether Canelo can maintain his winning ways at MW beyond one guy, it might just out that that one guy GGG wasnt all that.
Though I still prefer GGG as a person. There is a su****ion that Canelo may have tried to cheat with PEDs, though we dont know for sure. GGG has never been the subject of a PEDs controversy.
based on what was Canelo in his prime? Obviously he wasn't a kid fresh out of the amateurs, but how can you look at his performances at that time and even suggest he was where he is today?
Being weight-drained had a lot to do w/ him losing to Floyd. But that was the first time they placed him in front of a guy who was meant to be knocked out.
You have to be blind not to see that Canelo has improved greatly since then. Between the two GGG fights he basically transformed. Only an idiot would suggest the pre-rematch Canelo was the same man we have before us today.
The guy who showed up for the rematch and almost beat Golovkin would have MURDERED Floyd, Shane and Cotto.Comment

According to Mexican judges, yes.
Let's be honest, you gotta murder a Messican and burn the corpse just to get a draw.
Everybody's had their era: The English, the Irish, the ***s, the Italians, Blacks, Peurto Ricans, now Ukrainians... but never Mexicans. They just can't be the "it" ethnic group. They acquired Napoles - a Black guy from Cuba. They finally had a White guy, Sal Sanchez, but he died young. Now they have Canelo. They basically have had to give up on their own and turn to the other races .... despite being a fooking huuuuge country, right next to the U.S. even with that, they still can't really take over Boxing. It might be more pathetic than their attempt at soccer.
So they have given up on doing it themselves, and turning to the judges to do it for them.Last edited by Rusty Tromboni; 05-01-2019, 03:16 PM.Comment

Maybe because at one time we believed the narrative that he was the most avoided fighter but when he had the chance to make better fights, he chose not to, picking Vanes and Rolls.
And maybe because he said he wasn't about the money but the belts and now he doesn't care about the belts.Comment

México has produced 210 champions
USA has produced 360
The third place is Japan with 90+
Thats a realityComment

Seriously, I am as big an endorser of the lower weight divisions as anyone, but they have become increasingly void of representation as the human population becomes larger. In the era or Kilbane, sure it was normal to find guys that size. Now, these dudes are smaller than most High School students.
De La Hoya's the biggest meaningful Messican. And he's hardly meaningful in an ATG discussion.Comment
