Comments Thread For: Regis Prograis-Kiryl Relikh: WBSS Stats & Stakes

A lot of people think they already know where the final is headed at 140 lb. for the World Boxing Super Series. Regis Prograis-Josh Taylor feels like the destination, but the road hasn't been traveled yet. Prograis heads into the semi-final leg in pursuit of his first major title as a professional. Defending WBA titlist Kiryl Relikh isn't going to make it easy.

Tough fight for Prograis because Relikh is a rugged dude. The biggest test for Regis so far, we will know if he's for real.

If Prograis is serious, expect a statement from him right here. Knockout win, in the early rounds.

Even a solid points win would be very decent. Relikh is a tough dude with good punch variety and he ****s. Plus his only legit defeat he more than made up for in the rematch vs Barthelemy. He was robbed vs Burns, let's face it.
Prograis is the more skilled fighter of the two but he gets too high on himself sometimes and with a guy like Relikh we could be in for an interesting night. I'd have to go for a close points win for RG, 116 - 112 or tighter.
