Not his fault that no top 10 welterweight has been willing to fight him.

don't worry about crawford you loser. he's in a better position while those guys at pbc are beating each other up he'll still be fresh still have his belt and be undefeated without taking any punishment. crawford is a three division champ undisputed champ and holds the wbo welterweight belt. He's going to get his in the negotiations against thurman or spence or whoever else comes out the winner. That's if those pbc fighters grow some balls and fight him. They want no part of him.

Fight lesser competition and keep the body fresher??? Damn, the man is light years ahead of the rest lol.

Either way, with the numbers soon to be released on the Crawford/Khan PPV and then the future PPV numbers Spence will do, Crawford's B-side status will only grow. At that point he will have no choice but to crossover to Spence's side. That's great for boxing fans btw. The clearer the A-side becomes here, the easier the fight is to be made.

DSG isn't as big and strong as Spence, but punch for punch may have naturally heavier hands. Either way, Mikey has a MUCH better chance of winning that fight.
It’s a good fight to establish Mikey as a legit contender at 147. Mikey deserves a lot of respect for wanting to test himself against bigger/stronger opposition.
I’m worried that the Spence fight may have taken something out of him though, I thought his corner/brother should have pulled him out in the later rounds as he began taking unnecessary punishment.

I gotta agree with you on this .
Porter's styles not my cup of tea.
Plus in interviews he's showing waaay too much respect for Spence . Might be a little shook .

I think the fight would be 50/50. I don't think Spence-Porter will do all that well on PPV and though Thurman would be better it still wouldn't eclipse Spence-Garcia and with Crawford being the better fighter and ranked higher pound for pound it will probably be 50/50. Spence may have 3 belts but Crawford has a history of 4 belts, another division cleaned out and who knows maybe he'll have a PPV that at least does similar to Spence-Thurman.

I am fine waiting another 12-18 months because even as a hardcore fan that will want to be ringside for the fight I want more and more people talking about it. I want it to be a huge event not just a hardcore fans fight. I just don't like Ellerbe's tone and that echoed by PBC fanboys regarding the dismissal of the fight and look around that's out there. I suspect it's because they fully expect Crawford to beat Spence (or Thurman).

Maybe Bud respects loyalty and maybe just maybe he has confidence that smart people should be able to come together to make good business? He still had years on his contract anyway it wasn't like his extension was him as a free agent. Top Rank just extended it for basically the duration of his career earlier otherwise he'd have been in a Mikey Garcia situation of taking a few years off.
seemed to be a lot of celebrating when people realized fury/wilder 2 wouldn't be happening...not sure if I saw you around chiding those people

guys running around "hahahah fury is the draw...fury is the real champ...the peoples champ! look at all the money hes making! wilder doesn't deserve a rematch!"

meanwhile wilder gets 100 mil offers himself after that

didn't see you going in on those guys though huh?
