Don't forget, David Price revealed that he went 3 years as a pro without a single UKAD test. The fact that he was the only UK boxer I can think of to complain about it suggests that the others (and their promoters, managers, trainers) are fine with such a low level of testing. Price again said he wasn't tested at all leading up to the Povetkin fight and what a joke it was.

As with any promoter making comments like this, it's just public spin. The promoters are the ones who can change things, commissions can't do it without significant funding from the government which they're unlikely to get. Hearn. Al, Arum all know that failed tests create major headaches, affect events and cost promoters a lot of money so change has been slow/zero.

The US does have problems. No doubt. To act like it's worse though is bizarre. I think he's bitter that the US market isn't buying what he's selling.
This guy is the most spastic anti-brit on this site. He talks about things he has no idea about and even though people tell him he's wrong he still uses the same points.

You'd have to look a long time to find someone more idiotic than that.

        Categorically untrue.

It would be nice for a similar setup to that in the US for sure doe. I mean we are either in or out with this drug sh^t. I feel like the US & major US promoters/platforms are playing the middle too hard with drug sh^t.
Pretty sure it’s a budget by the gov

But whilst it’s premise is good, random testing at all times

The only reason they let fury off the hook is because if the case went to court, they would be bankrupt as they couldn’t afford it

I personally feel for the size of USA

Each state should control their testing and should be independent

Edward, your bitterness against the WBC for denying Dillian Shyte an opportunity at the most prestigious title ( WBC HW title ) held by Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder is apparent. Evidently your father also paid off your geography teacher I see ; the World Boxing Council's headquarters are in Mexico not the united states.

Shame on you croissant smelling pale buffoon.

Just responding to your post where you're the one that's playing the victim. "Eddies hating on us Americans becuase he's having a hard time in America"

The dudes just saying what thinks, he ain't gonna be hating to make his job even harder, that would be stooopid. You're the one trying to make it UK vs USA when really its just one fan group against another, seems like you just projected your own psycological flaws out there fella.

I said it recently, the US have a problem with PED use, people can try and deflect and give example of UK fighters but that doesnt change the fact that an awful lot of US or US based fighters have been caught
Canelo has made himself available to VADA testing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

That is far superior to dodgy UKAD.

From what I've read about the costs and comparing to the money flooding into boxing from Haymon and Dazn and tv companies there is MORE than enough money to cover that sort of testing.

Trouble is that is a commission such as new york or nevada try to enforce additional fees from promoters to cover the costs then they are scared that other commissions looking for exposure will just offer fight locations without testing - in other words they are scared of losing business.

That's why a nationwide athletic/boxing commission is needed. This could only be set up by a US government department obliging individual States to comply. Not sure there is the political will to do this - it's hardly a vote winner is it?

I think lifetime bans will work better. It is far cheaper and lets face it, no-one is going to miss boxers at Miller's level. He'd be forgotten about within 2 years.
